However, many enterprises in the introduction of mechanical hand after the lack of daily maintenance awareness and professional knowledge, resulting in different degrees of damage to the manipulator, resulting in increased operating costs.
1, guide rails and bearings
Should maintain a clean and good lubrication performance of the guide rails and bearings on all axes. If the robot is running in a dusty environment, it is often required to clear the track. If you find any metal fragments or powder, it may indicate that the lubrication is not good. In order to ensure proper lubrication, the proper linear guide system is critical, most of the manipulator has an automated lubrication system and a component that needs to be replaced regularly.
2, the cycle of mechanical hand cycle
One of the key points to keep the good running of the manipulator is simple observation and listening, which can expose a lot of information about the overall operation of the robot. The manipulator through concrete actions, so listen to any unusual sound, such as whistles and clicks, these indicate that the bearing can not normal rotation or any other component is stuck. 3, drive system
If the manipulator is driven by the assembly frame drive gear, attention is paid to whether there is any hesitation or shaking in the course of operation. In addition to smooth movements of all the movements can be shown that the drive system is damaged or internal storage of some foreign body. When the robot moves downward, the method of quickly checking the action or the backlash between the assembly beam and the transmission gear is to push and pull the moving arm, and the abnormal movement (different). However, due to the normal tolerance of the manufacturer is very high, so the test method will be very inaccurate.
If you suspect that there may be a problem with the assembly beam and the drive gear, a better way is to use a magnetic meter with a long range. After adjusting the teeth gap according to the manufacturer's instructions, check the full range of the shaft to ensure that there is no tight place between the assembly beam and the drive gear. If the tooth gap can not be adjusted, then the assembly frame and the transmission gear may be worn, need to be replaced. If you need to repair the assembly and the drive gear, it is best to replace the two components at the same time to ensure long-term performance.
As for the shaft driven by the conveyor belt, close attention is paid to the debris of the conveyor belt and its damage. Carefully check the pulley, pay attention to the source of the dust of the source of the dust. To ensure that the conveyor belt and the drive pulley and the groove wheel are in full alignment. The conveyor belt, which is in the direction of the deviation, will wear out very quickly.

4, pneumatic system
Including multi axial servo drive, as long as there is a transfer wrist and vacuum grab action, almost all of the mechanical hand will have a pneumatic function. Pay close attention to the filter pressure valve unit of the suction cup, which is the product of water on the system through the compression of the compressed air humidity is too large. A small amount of moisture existence may be transmitted to the pneumatic valve and actuator, and the internal pollution caused by oxidation, may eventually lead to the pressure regulating valve or actuator intermittent stick or failure.
If the suction disc is equipped with an automatic desiccant system, the contamination or discoloration on the suction cup also indicates that the water vapor is added before removal.
If the water is gathered into the suction cup, even if the time is very short, it can enter the system, resulting in the above problems. If you notice that the pneumatic hose has any visible damage, the system may have a leak.
If the pressure loop is filled with air at normal operating pressure, and leakage in the loop somewhere, then you should easily find obvious hiss, and help you determine the location of the leak.
5, check the molding equipment
The standard configuration of the manipulator is usually installed in the molding equipment template. When the equipment is running rapidly, the vibration from the forming equipment may be transferred to the mechanical hand, and can lead to damage. Simply observe the operation of the molding equipment, ensure the movement of the mold is adjusted to a reasonable state, reduce the number of shaking or vibration, you can extend the life of the manipulator.
In the case of high speed, the vibration frequency may be very high, it is best to be installed in the mechanical hand independent of the supporting structure of the forming equipment.
6, pay attention to the distribution of wear

In the inspection of mechanical watches surface, if found black particles or powder, then it shows that the mechanical hand circuit wiring with signs of wear. However, even if you can't find these wear signals, carefully inspected all power transformer or encoder cables, wiring path on both sides can also, because in the production cycle, continuous line friction of the manipulator, or connected to the cable on the rail line will eventually wear and failure. To ensure the safety of wiring and cable, and the reasonable installation of the cable.

7, check the lubrication
The mechanical hand is loaded with a spring loaded lubricant, unless there is evidence that the lubrication of the guide rail is not sufficient, it will only need to replace once a year. Automatic lubrication system can be configured to run continuously for lubrication. But if there are some surface, the mechanical hand in it can not normal movement, then to these areas for manual lubrication, or to achieve automatic system lubrication of regular program control action for lubrication.
If you find any movement on the surface appear rust, corrosion or wear, or just too dry, they are lack of lubrication. Always refer to the manual for proper lubrication of metal parts. The assembly beam - conventional gear system is lubricated by the lubricating oil storage unit, but it needs to be replaced every year.
8, the starting point of vacuum circuit
Vacuum should be close to the instantaneous formation, the appropriate controller input should be equivalent to grab products. If you find an open vacuum, then an input light source, delay time of more than 2 seconds, then it shows that there is a vacuum pipeline leak, defective or faulty switching device. The main control panel can be easily tested. If the manipulator is configured with a digital vacuum switching unit, it is necessary to quickly and automatically fine tune the minimum threshold required for the vacuum to grab the product. The process can be completed in the automatic operation mode of the manipulator. The setting parameters of each production cycle are stored in the memory, which can save time when the next production changes.
Digital vacuum switching device has two advantages: grab threshold signal electronic filter to compensate for the rapid movement of the vacuum chuck on the vibration of products. Product release threshold and grab threshold is different, can be programmed, can be guaranteed in the fast production cycle under the conditions of the appropriate release.
